Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology program at Uttaranchal College of Health Sciences is designed to equip students with the specialized knowledge and skills required to assist in surgical procedures effectively.
Age criteria
The minimum age for admission is 17 years on 31 st December of the year in which the admission
is sought. Maximum age limit for admission is 35 years .

is related to all the work and management of the operation theatre. The course prepares students for managing the patients as well as for monitoring the ins and outs of an operation theatre. During the study, the students are responsible for looking after all the surgical instruments as well as their sterilization. Students assist the surgeon during operations and closely look after the drugs, anesthetic gases, drapes and sterilization requirements during surgery.
In addition, minor tasks of arranging operation theatre table, instrument table, anesthesia table and managing the staff prepares a professional Operation Theatre Technician.
