Our Diploma Program offered in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) is a mission to upscale students with core skills like flexibility, adaptability, empathy, organizational skills, and time management. This helps them to carry out nursing and obstetric care interventions within four macro-areas: coordination and advanced assistance, organization and management, research and innovation, training and education.
This two-year-long specialized program offers study in varied subjects relating to the field, including the study of basic anatomy and medical equipment. The first year of the course covers the basic knowledge about setting up operation theatre, taking care of various equipment, maintaining records, and also administering timely medication to patients. The 2nd year is mainly focused on developing the research and organizational-managerial skills in the students, followed by an experiencing internship opportunity.

The BSc in Operation Theatre Technology is related to all the work and management of the operation theatre. The course prepares students for managing the patients as well as for monitoring the ins and outs of an operation theatre. During the study, the students are responsible for looking after all the surgical instruments as well as their sterilization. Students assist the surgeon during operations and closely look after the drugs, anesthetic gases, drapes and sterilization requirements during surgery.
In addition, minor tasks of arranging operation theatre table, instrument table, anesthesia table and managing the staff prepares a professional Operation Theatre Technician.
