The post basic B.Sc nursing course comprises of 2 years duration which includes all the nursing subjects. Examination is held at the end of each year after which the students are eligible to get registration from Uttarakhand State Nursing Council.
Minimum Educational Qualification

Candidate must have passed diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery in an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

The Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council

Candidate shall be medically fit Students shall be admitted once in a year.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
The Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course comprises of 2 years duration which includes all the nursing subjects. Examination is taken at the end of each year after which the students are eligible to get registration from Uttarakhand State Nursing Council. The course is permitted by Uttarakhand Government and Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The programme prepares students to take independent decisions in nursing situations and play a major role in treating patients with care and compassion. The programme curriculum comprises subjects like Maternal Nursing, Medical & Surgical Nursing, Microbiology and Mental Health Nursing. The broad area of the study involves Introduction to Nursing Research & Statistics which enables them to solve problems related to nursing using scientific methods. The students acquire both surgical and non-surgical nursing skills that prepare them for varied real-world clinical and hospital settings. The programme transmutes students to industry-trained professionals with a strong understanding of the philosophy objectives and responsibilities of nursing as a profession
